February is here! Finally! These are Axel’s Valentine’s from last year. He is still enamored with anything nature and magnifying glasses, so I’m considering doing something similar this year, perhaps some kind of spin on them. Maybe chocolate geodes or chocolate rocks instead? I better start looking…there isn’t a lot of time! Also! Here is a Love Day Pinterest Board I just put together––there are several easy Dollar Store ideas!
Materials
-Magnifying glasses (I found these black ones at the Dollar Store, but you can buy bulk multi-color packs on like these on Amazon).
-Chocolate lady bugs (or any bug-like candy) (Home Goods had bags of these last year)
–Plastic Bugs
–Glue Dots (for attaching candy and plastic bugs to the magnifying glass)
–Bakers Twine/Ribbon
-Tags (Hobby Lobby)
-Marker to write “Love Bug” or “Will you be mine, love bug?”
Here are the multi-colored magnifying glasses from Amazon. They’re a little smaller, but still work great!
