Nostalgia is running high. My baby turns three tomorrow. Ughff! Where does the time go? This morning we cuddled a little bit longer, made chocolate chip poffertjes, sipped coffee, and flipped through past birthday photos. Axel gets such a kick out of seeing himself when he was a “be-be”…and so do I.
“Little Tonto Turns One” was the theme of Axel’s first birthday. Let’s be honest, I chose that theme so I could have an excuse to buy him a teepee. Turns out that teepee is still a hit––he plays in it every single day. I kept the decorations and food simple––it was a lot of fun to pull together. I’ve included some photos below, and I’ve also thrown together a pinterest board, Tonto Turns One, for some ideas on decorations, food, and more!
