Ah, Easter. It’s quite possibly my favorite holiday.  I had so much fun hunting for Axel’s Easter basket items this year. I decided to go sugar-free since I’m sure he’ll get plenty of Easter candies from his grandpas and grandmas. Besides, my two year old’s energy level already operates at a nonstop sugar high. Anyway, here are the details on the contents of the Easter basket. P.S. I have yet to find the actual basket. Any suggestions? What are you guys putting in your Easter baskets? Please tell!

An Egg is Quiet
This is such a sweet book and I love the darling illustrations. There are similar books like A Nest is Noisy, A Seed is Sleepy, A Rock is Lively, and A Butterfly is Patient.

Green Hunter Boots
I found these pea green Hunter boots for only $39 (originally $70)–yay! Unfortunately, those Hunter boot deals are hard to find, but I’ve seen loads of cute rain boots this spring. Here are a few of my favorites for only $25.

Wooden Bunny Plate
Oh my, this plate is adorable and of course I couldn’t buy just one.

Pecking Chicken Paddle Toy
I remember my Grandpa Cornie (we called him Pop-Cornie) gave me one of these when I was little and it was nonstop fun.  I found this one at our local Holland toy store, but here is one almost identical.

Chalkboard Eggs
When I purchased these I thought they would open, but they don’t. Since dying eggs sounds a tiny bit painful with a two year old I think we’ll just spend time chalk decorating these awesome black eggs. FYI colored chalk comes with these eggs.

Chalk Bag
This little canvas bag was $1 from Hobby Lobby and I quick wrote “CHALK” on the bag with a permanent marker. So, crafty, I know. It must be an in store only product, but here is a link to something very similar.
